Aivoso Ltd ('Aivoso', 'we', 'us') operates the Aivoso platform. Our registered address is Lagos, Nigeria. We are the data controller for personal data collected through the Platform.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect data you provide directly (name, email, payment details, profile information), data generated by your use of the Platform (courses started, jobs applied to, messages sent), and technical data (IP address, browser type, device identifiers). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to: operate and improve the Platform; process payments; send transactional emails (receipts, OTPs, contract updates); personalise your experience; detect fraud and enforce our policies; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for); legitimate interests (improving the platform, preventing fraud); your consent (marketing emails); and compliance with a legal obligation.
5. Data Sharing
We share data with: payment processors (Flutterwave, Paystack) as required to complete transactions; analytics providers (aggregated, anonymised data only); our hosting and infrastructure providers; and law enforcement if legally required.

7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After deletion, we retain anonymised transaction records for 7 years to comply with tax regulations. You can request deletion of your personal data by contacting privacy@aivoso.com.
8. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; object to processing; and port your data to another service. To exercise these rights, email privacy@aivoso.com. We respond within 30 days.
9. Security
We employ industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, and role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
10. Children
Aivoso is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover we have inadvertently collected a child's data, we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We'll notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
