Terms of Service

Last updated: June 1, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Aivoso platform, operated by Aivoso Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Aivoso ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including clients, freelancers, and Academy learners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Aivoso. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Aivoso reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Freelancer Services

Freelancers are independent contractors, not employees of Aivoso. They are solely responsible for the quality of work delivered, tax obligations, and compliance with applicable local laws. Aivoso facilitates the connection between clients and freelancers but is not a party to the underlying service agreement.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to provide accurate project descriptions, pay for approved work, and communicate professionally. Clients may not attempt to circumvent the platform to pay freelancers directly after an initial introduction through Aivoso.

6. Payments & Fees

Aivoso charges a 10% service fee on all completed contracts. Course and subscription prices are listed at checkout. All fees are non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy. Payments are processed by third-party gateways; their terms also apply.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in a contract, clients own the final deliverables once full payment is received. Freelancers retain ownership of any pre-existing tools, templates, or code used to produce the deliverables. Aivoso content, including course materials, logos, and documentation, is the property of Aivoso Ltd.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not: post illegal, fraudulent, or misleading content; harass or abuse other users; manipulate reviews; attempt to reverse-engineer the Platform; use automated tools to scrape data; or attempt to circumvent payment systems.

9. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between clients and freelancers should first be resolved directly. If unresolved, either party may invoke Aivoso's mediation process. Aivoso's decision is final. Formal legal proceedings are subject to the jurisdiction of Lagos, Nigeria.

10. Limitation of Liability

Aivoso is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform. Our maximum liability to any user for any claim is limited to the fees paid by that user in the 90 days preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
